Metal Chairs

I found these Metal Chairs on Etsy and it brought me back to my Nana and Papa's deck at there lake home over 20 years ago. They had about eight to ten of them, all with bright lime green and orange floral patterns on them. They were comfy and would rock back and fourth, I believe they even had a rocker style chair too. There were many meals and family gatherings served on the deck, the chairs full of bodies, young and old. Sometimes the chairs held more than one child, eating Popsicles and ice cream.

The deck is where the grand children would hang out at and eat at in the summer time. My Nana and Papa would have a Grand Kids Week the week before July 4th. The boys would sleep in the boat house with Papa and the girls would sleep inside with Nana. The boys did outdoor stuff, while Nana lined all us girls up and painted nails, and gave hair cuts. The girls would sit out on the deck in the Metal Chairs, in hopes to spy on the boys to see what they were up too. I look back on those memories twenty years later and cherish them all.

Retro Boomerang Table

Sunburst Mirror Wreath

There are lots of color in the great wall show piece. It is made up of salvaged reclaimed wood, that are covered in a wide variety of bright colorful finishes. Do you ever run into a website that has such amazing things, you want almost everything on the site? That is how I feel when I visit OdinCrafts.com. The things that they have are absolutely stunning. Oh.....My.....Gosh, I may have died and gone to heaven!! This Chestnut Oak Pedestal Sink With Green Onyx Vessel is absolutely amazing. I can barely contain myself, I am in LOVE with it!! This is totally unique and totally amazing. It's beauty is jaw dropping. The streaks and swirls of deep brown, red and white against a light green back drop totally compliments the same deep brown colors in the stump.

I can see this in my home, I love this type of decoration. The wood was found by the sellers home and than was cured in his home built kiln. The stump has been thoroughly disinfected through a heating process. This stump displays a desirable insect influence, splatting, and a blending of dark and light browns in the lower portion. What are your thoughts on this amazing piece? It would look great in a log cabin, home. I cannot get enough of it!! I want it!

Vintage Quilt 1970's Bright Fluorescent Colors Retro

It is very popular to have vintage quilts if you are a collector. I personally love old vintage quilts, growing up my mother quilted and still does. This Vintage Quilt is a 1970's Bright Fluorescent Retro Colors. With these bright colors this quilt can go with any homes decor. The quilt and all of it's bright colors is very beautiful. If you have that 70's decor in a room, this quilt is for you. The fabrics used are mostly double knit fabrics from the 70's.

The solid side is a poly and cotton linen blend. They used two different pieces of fabric that are different colors, but the same pattern. I am sure it was just a way to use up some scrap fabric This beautiful quilt is all hand tied, but there is no batting in the center.
